How great is Narcoossee's?

I'm trying it this December. I'm so happy most of the reviews are positive. Can't wait. This is the restaurant I am most looking forward to.

We went there this past Jan. for my DW birthday, the service was just great, the food was just as great !! I had mentioned to the hostess the it was her birthday, after our wonderful meal they came out with a birthday cake, and
a copy of the menu with my DW name and date embossed on it. It was really a nice touch.
I cant wait to go back this fall.:thumbsup2

YES! Narcoossee's is wonderful...great food, excellent service, and beautiful view of the lagoon (and the water pageant and Wishes if it's playing that night). I've been going to Narcoossee's since I was 5 years old and I am 24 now, and it is still my favorite restaurant in WDW, we go there 2 or 3 times each trip, probably been there a million times by now! Filet mignon is excellent, lobster is fabulous, and the key lime pie is to die for! Shrimp cocktails are probably my favorite appetizer, I know it doesn't sound overly exciting but the quality is unbeatable. The children's menu is very good, plenty of variety but nothing weird. The menu for adults is wonderful, very creative without being exotic or strange. Seafood there is wonderful quality and the steak is always perfect. Drinks are very good as well. Have never had a complaint in my 20 or so years going there. The waitstaff is so friendsly and accomodating. Do make reservations. Please give it a try, you will want to go back again and again! If you are there around 9pm you will see the water pageant and go out on the wraparound porch to see that and Wishes if it's playing. Really awesome restaurant. Enjoy!

:thumbsup2 My favorite! I can't wait to go back in October. The best dessert on property! Almond crusted cheesecake! And I don't even like cheesecake!

Great food & Service. It was my birthday & Dh asked if anything special could be done & I got the printed out menu. No calling ahead or anything. Try to get there a little earlier just in case or call. We try to go every time we go:goodvibes :cloud9:

I ate there for the first time this past May. How did I miss this place all this time? It was fabuous. I was on the DxDDP and did a signature meal every night of my trip. I ate at Flying Fish, Yatchsman, Jiko, California Grill, Artist Point, Citricos, and Narcoosee. By far, the best meal of the trip was Citricos. In fact, it is the only Signature restaurant I am repeating for our upcoming Sept trip. That steak was the best I had all week and that included the ones I had at Yatchsman, California Grill, and Le Cellier that week. The almond crusted cheesecake is to die for:cloud9: .

It's been several years since DW and I dined at Narcoosee's. I remenber that the food and service were excellent, but because of the design of the restaurant, it was LOUD. Not what I usually expect at a signature place. Can anyone who has dined there recently give us some insight as to the noise level during dinner?

We loved it. We've eaten there a few times, most recently for our wedding dinner and it was fantastic. Everyone in our group was still talking about Narcoossee's AFTER we left LeCellier a few days later!

The food is excellent. The view is expectional. We were there two summers ago. Had a great view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and we got to see the Electric Water Parade. Service was perfect. Well worth the prices. It is a must. Sorry I didn't take my camera with me. We are going to eat there again this summer.
