tomorrow's our EPCOT day. just wondering how busy it's been this week with the festival? is it wall to wall people? we've done the other 3 parks already and other than Toy Story Land at HS we've found the crowds surprisngly low we weren't planning to buy G+ but I'm worried we won't be able to score Remy AND Frozen if we don't buy it. DH also decided last minute he wants to ride Cosmic Rewind so now I have to factor that in too. We are on site at AoA, if we do EMH and rope drop Remy, by time we finish that does Frozen usually have massive lines?

Historically Epcot is busier on weekends than mid-week during a festival.

I would recommend reading the 'Here Now and Just Back' thread as that's where people are sharing their current experiences in the parks.

yeah when I originally

yeah when I originally booked and selected park passes, the dates for the festival hadn't been released yet so I put Epcot on our Saturday.. wondering if I'll regret it 🤦🏼‍♀️

is the "Here Now" thread pinned somewhere? I can never seem to find it when I want it

I've been to Epcot on the weekends many times (AP with family that lives locally so I just drive to WDW and back) and I've found that it's mainly World Showcase that gets really busy. Many locals love going to Epcot for the festivals and to drink around the world, but are not too concerned with rides. From your other posts, you said that you have two young kids. Would they be willing to rope drop Remy since you're staying at a Skyliner resort and are close to that side of the park? If you get there early enough, you could do Remy and then walk over to Frozen before the line gets really bad. Unless it's a peak crowd time, I never buy Genie+ at Epcot as I don't think it's necessary.

Also if you're doing the virtual queue for Guardians, the 1 pm VQ is WAY easier than the 7 am one, which can sell out in 5 seconds or less. When I went to Epcot last month, I missed the 7 am queue but had zero issues getting the 1 pm one. I was called back to ride around 4:45 pm.

No problem! I know this is a once in a lifetime trip for you based on your other posts so I am hoping you and your kids have a fantastic time : )

If you want to try for a virtual queue slot at 7 am, I would recommend your husband (or whoever does not have the MDE account) to pull up this site on their phone:
https://www.timeanddate.com/

At 6:58 am, refresh and then as fast as you can, click "join group". It goes FAST, so don't be shocked that it's sold out in 5 seconds. The 1 pm one is much easier. I know you're from Canada, but if you have a data plan, use that instead of the Disney wifi.

thank you! yes we put US Sim cards in our phone (T Mobile) and I find them way faster than the WDW wifi!!
we are definitely having an amazing time. I so hope we will be back one day, but even if we don't we're making amazing memories

I'm so glad!

If your kids want to do many of the Future World attractions such as Spaceship Earth, Nemo, Living with the Land, etc. wait until the afternoon. Those wait times tend to drop as more people shift towards the World Showcase. Soarin does drop too, but not as much as those other attractions. Also ask for row B1 for the best view. Cast Members are willing to accomodate row requests, though you might have to wait another 5 or so minutes.
