Is there a website you can look at the tells you how full a flight is?

I'm flying with Virgin, I know I can check my own flight, but want to check other flights for my friends who've not booked yet and i'm worried they'll be getting full.

va call centre dont even know how full a flight is, a fare code couls sell out one hour but by the next hour more seats will be available in that same code. When I was there it would only show an amount of seats for sale but that would hardly go down as the released more seats

I would check online at va website and out in the max number of seats you can and then see if it lets you buy them

Not a scientific way of doing it but if you put the dates on the Virgin site and if it just offers premium economy either way you know that flight has probably sold all its economy seats available at that time. Not sure how exact it is though.:confused3

Thanks guys I didn't think there would be, i'll try your suggestions.

If you goto Travelocity.com (not sure about UK site I am having trouble loading it today) and search for your dates it will come up with your flights and option to view seats and what is available.

Thanks, checking now.

Looked on the VA website and the price had gone up since I booked.

Won't actually show you how full, only what seats are prebooked. Not sure what you are looking for.

Great when they go up isn't it. Ours for August now £1,513pp paid £465:thumbsup2

Not good for my friends though, they won't tell me what their plans are though, its most annoying, you can get indirect for just over £300 but VA ones where over £800.
