How fast does early October BWV fill up?

I called one day late this year for October, 11 mos minus a day, and all BWV Standard Studios were gone. I waitlisted and it came through though.

I agree with the other posters. We own at BWV specifically to get Board walk view villas for October for F&W festival. We book at 11 months exactly at 9 am so that we get what we want each year. I would NOT want to have to depend on getting anything at BWV at the 7 month mark for F&W.

Buy where you want to stay.

Yup, bought my BWV points with a September use year to book F&W in October at the 11 month window

I just called today to inquire about availability for the first two weeks of October at BWV. There were only two days together available for a standard studio..two days together for BW view. I was able to get a preferred view for the four nights we needed...don't know about availability for the last two weeks.

I am also wanting the BWV studio, We can go anytime in October, so it looks like I will start trying in the next few weeks, since I don't own at BWV I can't book until 7 months out. We bought at SSR in 2005 since then Boardwalk has become our favorite.

I called right at my 11th month window...right on that day. I was able to get 2 standard studios for Oct 1-23. I don't think that would have happened if I had waited a week or so. But, hopefully, there will be two standard studios opening up for Oct 21 and 22 since we want to move over to AKL for the last two nights. But can't do that until next month!

That a long trip! whew, I thought I went for a long time! Those 2 standard studios most likely will go to other BWV owners who are currently waitlisted. I'm hoping to snag a preferred room for my daughter and her family at the 7 month window for the last week of October. I used my BWV points for a standard room for us, and hoping for a preferred room for them, but they are only there 6 nights while we're there 13 nights. I've never tried to get a studio at BWV at the 7 month window. I know the standards are long gone, but hoping for a garden view, which has the biggest inventory! Looks like there will be lots of competition here. I do need to find out where else she wants me to book for her if it's not available.

I own at BWV and for the second year in a row I am waitlisted for 2 nights. Last year the wait list did not come through. I booked around 9 months out.
