How fast does a FP+ get you on and off a ride?

What do you mean by the FP were under different bands?
If you have someone who isnt going to ride you can switch magic bands and use theirs to ride. For example my mom and I are not big riders so at Epcot I booked my sons on Soarin and my mom and I on Test Track, they will use our bands for test track

We had a party of 6 people. My twins were too small to ride the majority of thrill rides and my MIL can't ride most. So I had Splash booked w/DH and ODS's band, BTMRR w/my band and one of my twins and 7DMT on my MIL and other twins band. ODS rode each one and alternated with which parent. I just added that because if everyone is riding the system won't allow OP to book 3 rides within the span of an hour.

When I changed around some ADRs after making my FPs, I believe it warned me about the times overlapping a bit, but it didn't stop me from booking. I guess they do that to give you a heads up so you can't really complain you didn't know or weren't told.

OP, if you want to book something close to a FP, I would go for 10:45 instead of 10:30. Even once in the FP line, there's no guarantee there won't be an additional wait inside. Lots of times we've moved through the line very quickly - to the point where this past NYE we literally walked on to 7DMT despite an insane 150m I think standby line - but lots of times, especially at BTMRR, we have encountered an additional 10-15 minute wait once inside the queue for FP. Once on it, that ride is on the shorter side, so once you get through the queue, barring any mechanical issue, you will probably be off pretty quickly.

It sounds fine to me. you can get on 5 mins before your FP+ window plus any restaurant will give up at least 15 mins past your ADR time as a grace period.

Your FP is most likely 10-11. You will need to pick a time after that. I would head right over to that section Splash/Thunder. Go on the least crowded, usually BTM, at 9 in SB, if there's time, go on Splash and then Thunder again with FP between 10-11. We usually do this if we have an earlier FP for SM or BTM.
Get your next FP after 11:30.

We were there last July while it was pretty busy and the only two rides that I had a significant wait using FP+ were BTMR which was about twenty minutes and Soarin which took almost 40 minutes.

Oh ok -- I never even considered that.

Ok we'll see. As long as I can pull off 2 rides per hour I will be a happy camper. We will have the DAS and FP+ to alternate. So lots of brainpower (more so than any other vacation prior) going into this trip!! Thanks for all the good info yall!
