how far to the grand canyon

Anybody know how far it is to drive from disneyland to the grand caynon. also from las vegas to the grand caynon.

DL to Vegas is roughly 5 hours, though some do it in 4 by driving fast and not stopping at all. The Grand Canyon (the part I've been to anyway--North Rim) is another 3-4 hours beyond that I think (it's been a long time since I was there). Don't know for the South Rim. I do know Phoenix AZ is about a 6 hour drive. If you plan on driving to Vegas, don't do it on a Friday afternoon--the 15 freeway is really backed up. If you tried it, you'd be looking at 10 hours. The best time to try that drive is early in the morning.
