the walk from BWV to Epcot? Is it worth it or should we just take the boat or bus?

The walk from BWV takes less time than a boat ride. In all, it's about 8-10 minutes to the International Gateway entrance. If you are right at the Boardwalk dock when a boat is about to leave, it may be a tossup. Otherwise, the walk is quicker. The only time I would opt for the boat is if it is raining or excruciatingly hot. Then. the boat would offer shelter and air conditioning.....

Also you can walk along the water rather than up and over that bridge--which can be a killer coming back after a long day int he parks :)

We just came back from the BWI last Tuesday and we walked sometimes and took the boat only if it was there, and as long as too many people were not waiting. The walk is nice even in the rain (as long as you have an umbrella).

I know you can walk along the water to the YC/BC/BCV.

To get to the BWI/BWV (or S/D) don't you need to cross over water at some point?

I think the killer walk is from MGM not Epcot. There is a bridge crossing over the waterway coming from Epcot to BWI.

Since you are going in Mid-August, it might be a good idea to take the boat to Epcot, especially if one is pulling up when you are ready to leave.:smooth: You will be walking a lot in the park and the heat is pretty bad, except very early morning. If you feel like walking back, go for it.
