Wondering the driving time from resort to each WDW park?

Thanks,
Michelle

I believe it is a 5 or 10 minute drive. We have stayed there before and it was a fairly quick drive to the parks and close to shopping. You'll have a great time.:thumbsup2
When are you going there? Are you using points through RCI timeshares? We had a problem with that, that is why I ask. PM me if you have any questions.

I know the main Vistana is about a 5-10 min drive to the parks. I always considered Vistana Villages a little further. Mapquest says VV is about 4 miles further away from WDW than Vistana (main), so I figured the drive would be at least 15-20 min from VV ? Especially since the traffic can be a little heavy on International Drive.
Isn't VV near the Sea World exit on I4 ? Maybe I'm off on this ? The main Vistana is 3-4 traffic lights away from DD.

I am looking at Vistana Villages NOT the resort, so it looks like at least 20 minutes. Is going on the International Drive the only way to get to the parks?

Thanks:)

I'm not sure Mick, but I seem to recall a post about someone who knew a quicker way to get to WDW from Vistana Villages. I can't find it at this time. Hopefully they'll see this thread and post.
I know the area where this resort is, but I've always traveled to and from via I4 and International Drive. It's not a horrible drive, I just wouldn't consider it under a 10 min drive. I'm sure alot depends on the time of year too.

Thank you for your help.

Is there anyone else out there that knows the best way to drive to WDW from VV and about hoe long it takes?:)

We have stayed at Grande Vista which is relatively close to Vistana Villages and I would allow about 20 minutes to Magic Kingdom parking lot. Some of the other parks are a bit less. If you are needing to make b'fast ressies or something like that at MK, leave a lot more time. You'll need to park, take the parking tram, and then monorail or boat to the park...depending upon how busy it is this can take quite a while.

We drove one night to EPCOT and were able to park in one of the first few non-handicapped rows in spots people had left for the day, so that was a quick trip, but usually we allow at least 20 minutes from that area of I-Drive.
