How far is it to drive to St. Augustine from WDW?

I've wanted to see St. Augustine for a long time and we'll be at WDW for 9 days w/7 MYW passes, giving us 2 open days. I know one day we'll spend at VWL, but, if it's not too far, would love to take a day trip to St. Augustine.

Any advice?

Driving time will be approximately 90 minutes via I-4 to I-95 to US1.

I drive near the speed limit, as it took me well over 2 hours and about 20 minutes from Disney property to the heart of St. Augustine. I always hit some sort of slow down on I-95, lucky me!

Our experience has been similar to Hugs'. We have done this twice. Love the shops in Old Town. They have tour trams to get an overall view if this is your first time. The fort is an interesting tour also.

2 hours sounds about right. We have done St Augustine several times on our way down to WDW--well worth the visit.
