We're heading to Disney and staying at OKW next month. I needed to buy some stuff at Sephora and looked online to see that they have a store down at the Florida Mall. I was going to order online but I would love to go to the store instead. My first love is disney and second love is make up so it would be so much fun to go to a brick and mortar store! If it's too far though, I'll just go ahead and order online. Thanks!

The mall isn't that far away, there's an exit right off of I-4, that will lead you right to the mall... I can't think of the exit name... I'm sure someone on this board will...

Exit is the SandLake Rd exit. Stay to the right on the exit ramp. Go straight about 5 miles.. you can't miss it.. the Mall will be on your right.

The EASIEST way to get to Florida Mall from WDW is to take I-4 to the Beachline (Route 528). Get off the exit for 17-92 NORTHBOUND. (Also known as 441) Take that up a mile or so, after you pass the Saturn dealer on your left, look for rooms to go on the right, the mall is where Rooms To Go is on the far right corner.

If you take Sand Lake you'll be fighting traffic and congestion for five miles.

From OKW, plan on about 30-40 minutes travel time, depending on traffic. If you go early in the morning there won't be much traffic. I get my hair cut there, and always book a 9:00 am appointment. By noon the traffic is ridiculous and the mall is packed.

follow ducklite's advice. we always park near the Sears store and have no problem getting in and out.

true, there is always traffic there, but figured if someone isn't sure of how they are going.. the other is a more direct but longer due to very heavytraffic

I want to add that I only go there on Saturdays. The traffic getting there from ANY route during the week is terrible!

If you go early on a Saturday--leave WDW by 9:15 or so--the traffic will be light, even on I-4.

Goofyzgurl--I was just thinking the same thing this morning! We are planning to go in late February, and I was wondering where the Sephora was. Talk about a kid in a candy store! :cheer2:

Hello,
We were just at the Florida Mall the Saturday before last. My daughter wanted to get another build a bear, so we went there directly from the airport with directions from mapquest and found it with little problem. This was our first time to Florida and Disney. The traffic was steady and the mall was very busy. Nice place, though. I agree with the advice to go early.
Have a fun trip!
Anne
