How far in advanced do you book your hotel??

The minute I know my dates I book a trip, could be a few days in advance could be months in advance...then when the AP or FL resident discounts come out I see if the room is applicable to a discount, if not I switch to one that is, but only for deluxes.

9 months this time. We have been lucky and snagged a room close to the date when we did a short moment trip.

I do as soon as dates are confirmed. Sometimes we make the 180 days for dining, sometimes we don't. But I don't hesitate at all once I get the dates.

As far out as I possibly can to get the choices that we want. This time I booked early September 2007 for April 2008 and could not get the building that we wanted. But at least we are at the GF.

It all depends on when you are going and if you have your heart set on a certain resort.

If you are going during a busy time such as Spring Break then you may have to opt for a different hotel. And most likely a higher priced one. If you try going during between Christmas and New Years I would say its likely you wont find anything 3 weeks before.

But on slower times I think you might have a better chance of getting either the resort or the resort category you want.

Same here. On short notice, during busy season, I have only been able to book the Swan or Dolphin.
