How far in advanced did you book Randy Chapman?

I just got off the phone with Linda at Randy Chapman's office and I was wondering how far in advanced did everyone book Randy? I feel that with my wedding being almost 10 months away that I can wait to book him for a while but DH2B thinks that I need to book him now. Any suggestions?

if you know your day & know you want to use randy i would book now. why chance it?

we booked randy before the 1 year mark, probably about 14 months out. he is affordable & the style we want.

I began talking to him 2 wks ago- My date in Nov 10 and I sent the contract at the end of last week. I was impressed that I was trying to decide b/w pkg 3 and 4 and he said that 3 would be just fine for us, which I really respect him for not tryingto steer me to the higher one. That says something about him

We originally booked Randy for a December 2005 VR, but had to postpone to June 2006 because of Hurricane Katrina. However, we re-booked immediately because we didn't want to lose him.

We met with him at WDW last July and he brought tons of albums to look at and everything was FANTASTIC!

If you haven't seen Randy's work in person, believe me it is wonderful. His website pictures are good, but nothing in comparison to his work in person.

He is so nice and friendly and will work with you on whatever you envision your wedding photography to be.
