How far in advance?

How far in advance would I need in order to rent points for a studio at BWV or BCV? I had tried for Oct 1-4 about a month ago & was told that they were unavailable.

members may reserve 11 months in advance of their check out date at their home resort and 7 months at non-home resorts. Both BCV's and BWV's are very popular due to their location and Oct. is a very busy time of year for DVC so you'd need to try and find someone to rent from that can make your ressie at 11 mos. out

Not to say that it's impossible to rent in less than 11 months out but it is much more difficult at certain resorts.
