How far in advance use points

Sorry newbie here. I bought a stripped contract and won’t have any points until 2025 March.

Can I borrow those points to book a trip after March of 2024 before March.

Example: can I book a trip to go
To Orlando in April 2024 in January of 2024? Or do I have to wait until after March 2024 then I can use my
2025 point to book from that point forward?

You can book as eatery as April of 2023 (next month) for a trip in March of 2024 by borrowing from you March if 2025 points.

100% the 50% limit has been done away with.

Personally, I would recommend booking as early as possible...
I personally would rather borrow points than bank them if at all possible.....

just my method of not losing any .....

No. Points are based on calender year.

If you mean do you have to pay them at the time of borrowing, no.

You pay your maintenance fees the same regardless of how you use the points. So if you borrow all of 2024 into 2023, you'd still pay the same fees for 2023 and whatever the fees are for 2024 like you normally would.

The way I see it is if I borrow them, then I don’t lose them, if I bank them and can’t go, now I have put myself in a pickle….
