Staying at Kidani in mid January and want to request close to the lobby. (We have a 1 bedroom Savanna view booked.) When is the best time to call member services for the request? Thanks.

I would suggest you make your request as soon as you make your reservations. If I make my reservation on-line I usually call DVC a day or two later to have a castmember put it in the notes.

You can do it at as soon as you make the reservation, so you have no reason to wait, i.e., waiting until later does not increase your chances of getting a request. You can call MS or go on-line at the DVC site and send an email that includes your reservation info and request

I agree, but I found the new online live chat feature on the member site t o be the easiest way yet to make those requests. No problem with someone not understanding when you instantly get it in writting.

We book online and use the contact form on the member website to add requests.

At the time of reservation.

It used to be policy that requests were assigned in the order they were received. That hasn't been policy in years, but its still a good idea to make any requests as soon as possible so that if you get someone looking at requests and deciding on two based off what is "fair"- "fair" is often seen as "asked first."

Thanks, used the online chat feature this am to make the request. Will be sure to do it earlier next time.
