I leave in 12 days and can no longer wear shorts where we live.

I don't have the forcast that far out for WDW but should I go ahead and pack planning for warm weather?

I also have to pack another child who is going on a school trip farther north so she is currently wearing the clothes that she will be taking and I can't pack her up just yet.

I just don't want to do both at the last minute and end up forgetting something for either trip.

I leave Saturday with 2 young kids and I haven't started packing yet. I know what I want to bring, and have been buying things for the trip, but have not yet put anything in a suitcase. I will probably start tomorrow!

I leave on Christmas Day and have started packing :lmao:

Nothing big...swimsuits/coverups that we won't be wearing before again before our trip.

I also went to the Dollar Store this weekend for some little things and threw them in a suitcase so that I know where they are when I really get ready to pack. I also put the disney ponchos and umbrellas in the suitcase, just so I know where they are.

My "real" packing will take place the day before we leave, but I like to have some of the things in place to make packing easier.

I'm the queen of lists though so I have a list of everything I need to bring.

If you pull the forecast for this week, it should be pretty close to the same for next week. I've never been to WDW in late September, but was there in early/mid and it was still very warm.

I am already "pre packing" for our Nov. trip. things like glow sticks, pin lanyards ect. The real packing of clothes will start about a week before. I already have the customs I have finished for DD hanging seperate in the spare room closet and have a small storage box of bows going. I still have A LOT to sew though!!

We leave in 12 days too but we're still having shorts weather so I still have to wait. We don't leave until Saturday afternoon, so I have time to do last minute laundry etc., but I think we will be starting to get a lot ready this weekend.

we don't pack till right before we leave... but I wanted to say - I live 3 hours south of the parks and it is still quite hot

Our trip is always in Feb. so we start packing as we're putting away our summer clothes - some of them go right into the suitcases. Then we do a re-pack a couple of days before we leave.

We leave in just 4 days and I really haven't started packing yet. I have been putting some things in the suitcase as I buy them....things I bought just for the trip. But as far as clothes I have not packed anything. We are still wearing shorts here so we need our clothes. I will start packing the day before we leave.

If I were you and not needing shorts anymore I would go ahead and pack them.

my family usually picks out the clothes their wearing on the trip and does laundrey for about a day or two before we leave this way we can focus on the 'stuff' we are going to bring like extra shampoo, towels for the pool, money, glowsticks, hair stuff, ect and then pack all our clothes when their fresh out of the dryer :]

I don't begin to pack until a couple days before. Most of the packing happens the night before we leave.

Definitely pack for hot weather. It's still summery here in NC...I'm sure FL will be hot for ya! ;)

I'm in Miami (not Orlando, but only 3-4 hours drive south) and it has been insanely hot this last week, so I would think you are safe to pack for warm weather - you can always add a light sweater/jacket and some pants, but I would go ahead and start packing if you want :)

I always start my Packing List and To Do List well before we leave for vacation. As I think of things, I put them on my list. Then, as our departure date draws nearer, I pack and do all the things on my list. My list gives me a peace of mind that I will not forget something.:thumbsup2

We leave in 18 days I ahve one suitcase packed mostly with my things. Capris I won't need before the trip etc. I also have the suprise gifts for the kids and the special shirts I made just for the trip.

I've already started packing for our trip in 6 weeks. BUT I have a good reason- my parents winter in Florida. They are leaving next week. So if I can send 2 suitcases with shorts/t-shirts, swimsuits and towels. That's 2 suitcases I don't have to take through the airport or pay luggage fees for!

I always know what I want to take but don't pack until the night before. Plan to pack for HOT weather and possibly rain.

I have most of our "stuff"packed and swimwear, sandals, etc. that we won't be wearing, but no clothes yet. We leave in 11 days, so I hope to get some clothes packed this weekend. I did a marathon laundry day yesterday, so I will only have small loads to do before I start packing.

We leave on Thursday and we started packing yesterday. If I pack too early I forget what I packed or need to pack!;)

I am usually up all night the night before I leave cleaning laundry and packing. I think it's nervous/excited energy (and I'm such a last minute person). I am determined not to do that this trip. I am thinking of packing either next week or the week after except for our overnight bag that will come on the plane with us.
As for weather, my cousins that live an 45 minutes from Disney just arrived yesterday for a family matter and said that the weather has been REALLY hot but that in 2-3 weeks it should come down a little, but that it'll still be warm just hopefully not stiffling.

I don't really start packing until the week before we leave and it's piece meal at that. I do have all of my lists ready for myself and the kids ~ dh is on his own. I do have a spot in my closet that I put away miscellaneous items that I always take on vacation so that's all ready. I actually can't wait to start packing.
