How far in advance do you book?

I will be booking two rooms at POR for November (week following US Thanksgiving) Normally I book a year in advance, but circumstances have prevented me from doing so this time. I am not in a position to book now until at least mid-March. In your experiences, when do choices start to be limited?

I booked 9 months in advance last year. This year, I haven't booked yet (planning for October) and I'm not even sure what dates I'm going.

We're going in early June and I just booked last week.

Booked two weeks ago for September.

I've booked as close at 3 months in advance and as far out as 14 months. when I book far out I always end up changing things around

We've done anywhere from 45 days till months ahead. We also make changes if we book too far out.
