How far in advance can you book?

I'm planning a future trip and was wondering how early I can book a room. I want to surprise the DW with a concierge stay.

I am thinking of 2005...June or October

JDY, what a lovely surprise.

I have read that you can book up to a year in advance, but sometimes Disney doesn't have the pricing information for your specific dates and thus allows you to book with the caveat that the price of your room may change.

Hopefully, others here can give you more information on this topic.

I have reservations for 2005 that I made last month. The confirmation says rate is yet to be determinded but they told me that to start with.

You can book several years in advance but as Janet2k explained, the rate you're quoted may change. What they will do is quote you "2004" Rack rate for Regular Season. So if the rates go up in "2005" or you go during Peak Season, your rate will be adjusted for the increase (or decrease if you go during Value Season). ~~

Bracho - is the reservation for room only, or for room/tkts package? I'd like to book early also, and I'm not concerned about the price going up, just would like the reservation, but I want to book the package and only have to pay the $200, not have room only and pay 1 night deposit. Can I do this? I'm looking for late 2005 also.

I am sorry, I just got back... yes the reservation is room only, The reservation slip reads...

Rate not determined. Rate for 2004 is.......

When I asked about adding a package, they said that when the packages for 2005 were available (end of September, first part of October) I could add a package then. I was also told that when the prices for the room only for 2005 were released, I would get a confirmation slip with the corrected rate via snail mail.
