How far in advance can I book?

We are planning our honeymoon for Sept 2004 and want to stay at GF in the honeymoon concierge. How far in advance can we/ should we book in order to assure we get it? Also what have your experiences been?

In order to get the Teacher's rate at Dolphin for our large party going in March 2004, I booked 3 rooms just inside a year out, near the end of Feb. this year. Don't know if all WDW resorts accept this far out. Nail down what you want as soon as they let you book by calling CRO and 'trade up', or is it down?, if a better rate comes along later.

They will take reservations anytime. They just can't give you the rates until they come out.

I booked our vacation for New Year's Eve 1999/2000 in 1994!!!! And all the deluxes were booked solid!

I'd say if you really want that honeymoon suite, book now!

Another vote for book it now. They will book it at 2003 rack rate for Regular season, then when the new rates come out they will adjust it (hopefully a decrease since you will actually be staying during Value season). Don't forget to watch these boards and Mousesavers.com for discount codes that may come out for your time period. ~~

anoter who agrees with book it now. i made our reservations 1 year in advance for our honeymoon; then about 4 months before our trip i found a GREAT ap rate in mousesavers, and called CRO to switch our reservation over to the lower rate. it was no problem, and saved us a lot of money.
