How far in advance can I book?

I thought you could book a room more than a year in advance? Why does the Disney site not let you book past December this year? I am looking for spring break next year so March 2020.

I believe you can call and make reservations over the phone 499 days in advance. The dates through end of 2020 will not be released on Disney's site until this summer (probably June/July).

You can book a room only reservation at 499 days out. You have to call to book it, online booking that far out won't be available for a while [when they release the 2020 rates/dates into the online booking system].

As others have posted, you can book RO 499 days out, which will be quoted at the highest rate for 2019 and automatically adjusted once the 2020 rates are released. If you want a package or want to book online, you have to wait for the new rates to come out. With that said, if you want a package, it's probably best to wait and book once the new rates are released. If you book RO now and change to a package later, the RO will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new deposit.
