Hi Everyone,

This is my first time on the Disneyland boards and I was hoping someone could help. My DH is heading our tomorrow to work on the San Jose/Anaheim NHL playoff series for CBC TV, lucky duck since it is so cold here still! Anyway we were just wondering how far Disneyland is from the Honda Center? He will have next Wednesday off, the day between games three and four, and I am begging him to go to the park and tell me all about it. Unfortunately he is not one to go alone so if no one else on his crew is interest he may just go to Downtown.

I would say 3 miles I could be wrong but it is pretty close

About 3 miles is right. And by downtown do you mean downtown LA? There really isn't much to do there. It is mostly office and public buildings. I don't know anyone that makes downtown LA a destination for anything.

LOL I just looked on mapquest and here is what it said.

Estimated Time: 8 minutes Estimated Distance: 3.86 miles

Thanks everyone. Sorry I was thinking Downtown Disney! Would that be about the same distance or is it farther away? Is it easy to get around Disneyland? Like the busses at WDW, if he wanted to go to California Adventure?

same downtown disney is right there by disneyland

CA is just outside the gate of disneyland. Not sure if they are still doing the 2 park tickets. IF they are we used to use the tickets to go to both parks in one day, not sure if they still let you do that I got conflicting answers when I asked. But we always start at DL and then move to CA when DL gets crowded. I find DTD to be underwhelming myself, there is only so much time to kill eating a meal and going to the disney store. I don't like to be alone either but I would rather be alone in DL then alone in DTD.

Just to clarify...everything in DLR is within walking distance. DL, CA, DD are all right there, it's not like WDW where you need a bus to get to each place. Hope he decides to go! :)
