The other thread got me thinking about that.

I was born in South Haven, MI and now live about 70 milesfrom there. At times I lived a lot farther!!

I currently live 8.9 miles from the hospital I was born in. It isn't there anymore however.
I currently live 2.8 miles from where my parents lived when I was born, and where I lived until I was 3.
I currently live 6.2 miles from where my parents moved when I was 3, and where I lived until I was 24.
I currently live 6.8 miles from the condo my wife and I lived in when we got married.
As you can see, I have lived in 4 homes all within about 6 miles of where I am today in my 60 years.

My DW, lives 5,600 miles from where she was born. So we do have different life experiences.
