how far back do you read posts?

i was killing time today and started going back through all the posts in the community board. i got to page 19 which was jan 9th about 3 pm before i stopped. this made me wonder, how often do you check the boards, and how far back do you read? normally i will only go to page 3 or so, the new posts, and i check it almost everyday. i miss the view all new posts and search options. anyone else with me?

Mostly I just read page one, sometimes I'll go to page 2 and very rarely page 3

When I work (3-11) that means I am offline for about 18 hours, so when I do log back on, I usually go back 3 pages to see what I missed.

Before mother got ill, I would go to the page with the first post of the day. Now I don't have as much time to post so I check the first two pages.

She's getting better though and I'll be able to post more again

I usually come on a couple times a day so I only need to check the first page or two for new posts.

If I haven't been on in a day or 2 then I'll go back about 3 or 4 pages.

I come on the DIS nearly every day so most boards I frequent I only read the first page. On the CB, I usually check the first two pages since it has way more new posts than the rest and I don't want to miss any new controversy
