How far away are the big trees?

Just wondering how far we would have to drive north of Disneyland to see a Sequoia or Redwood tree?

We drove the opposite way. We came from Yosemite to Anaheim. Went to the Mariposa Grove the day we left Yosemite since it is on the way out. It took nearly 6 hours with a gas and food stop.

You can reach the sequoias in about 5 hours by going up the 5 to the 99, past Bakersfield, and then taking the 198 at Visalia.
