How Far Are You From WDW?

An hour and 20 minutes away. We are DVC members, and DW has odd work hours, so we take two and three day trips almost every month.

Virginia here. I'm a flyer too. 1 1/2 hours non-stop. Get me there and get me there fast.

Can we go now? ::yes::

Washington State here, 8 hour plane trip!

Have no idea how long it would be in a car and hope to heavens I never have to drive that far! :rotfl:

So if you seem me there next Spring Break, I'm the one that looks slightly asleep because of the 3 hour time difference. Waking up in Florida at 7am is like getting up at 4am for me!

But it also works to my advantage, I LOVE the late night dinner ressie's. 9pm is 6pm for me! I never have a problem getting into restaurants that I want! :thumbsup2

Like shoppingbou, we are 24 hours away. Did drive down once, but ever since we discovered flying out of Burlington with Jetblue, we have been flying./QUOTE]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since I live close to Burlington, JetBlue is my transportation of choice. Just a little under 4 hours by air, including layovers. Coming back it is the same plane that leaves Orlando that comes to Burlington, so no changing planes or transferred luggage. It's like they were doing it just for me.

I have driven a number of times and the 24 hour drive time sounds about right. I usually intentionally take two and a half days to drive down so I won't be spent by the time I get there. I enjoy the drive and like going through the southern states on the way down, but, for shear ease nothing beats JetBlue.

:teleport: :car: :dumbo:

Washington state....too far to drive.

5 1/2 hour on the nonstop flight, but only one airline offers it and it is spendy.
otherwise 4 hours on leg one, and 2 1/2 on leg 2 :(

A 22 hour drive by car. My hubby won't fly....we've driven every year.

The quote above my photo says it all, and I'm only 2.86 miles to The Wonder and Magic's terminal. We can see it from here. I love where I live!

1,706 miles . . . according to Yahoo a 24 hours drive. Average flight with transfers, since there's no way to go direct: about 10 hours.

Just a 20 minute drive from our house ;) , then a 2 hour plane ride.

We live in MA., so it's an hour drive to the airport (to either Logan or Bradley), then it is about 2 1/2 or less hours to Orlando Airport.

Only 29 more days until we go down, and use Logan Airport for the first time. I'm a little scared. It seems too big for me. :scared:

also, 500 posts :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
it only took a year...

We are in South Jersey, down by Atlantic City, approx. 1010 miles to WDW, driven it many times, but now we are flying, so its only 2.5 hrs, driving its 18 - 20 hrs. We leave for the air port at 4:30 this am.

About 18 hours straight thru. Because we have an almost 3yo we drive about 15 hours, stay the night 5 miles from the FL state line, then head on out early the next morning.

We are 3 hours away, on the gulf coast of Florida!

Depending on the ever unpredictable turnpike, we are between 5 and 7 hours from World Drive.
