How Far Are You From WDW?

Only 1390.33 miles for us from what mapquest says. :sad2:

Driving straight through would take us about 24 hours or 3.5 hours by plane.

I live waaaay too far, 18 hours by care (belive me I've done it without stoping at a hotel) and 2 1/2 hours by plain in Philadelphia. But hopefully if all goes to plan, after I graduate from college I will be living down their and working in WDW for year before I go to grad school for film.

About 20 miles away or so. But with the traffic it takes almost an hour to get to certains parts of WDW.

I live in East Tennesse, so it takes between 8-9 hours depending on traffic through Atlanta.

It is just easier to drive than to fly from here it seems.

We live in Massachusetts, we're driving down in September, my DH is telling me it's going to be a 22 hour drive!

Well, to get on property?? About one and a half minutes. :thumbsup2

I live in Western New York, so it'd probably be a 24 hour drive if we never stopped. :rotfl:
When my parents drove down for their honeymoon, it took them about three days because of taking breaks and everything.

So instead, we'll be taking a 2 and a half hour flight down. :goodvibes

Too far. :guilty: 2 days to drive :moped: and 3 hours to fly (plus $700-$800) :hourglass

We live in PA and are about 18 hours from WDW.

A 2.5 hour plane ride - I do not think I would ever drive. But who knows - never say never!

;)

Way further than I'd like! About 24-25 hrs to drive, or 2.5 hrs by air. (But it takes us more than two hours just to get to the airport in Kansas City!!)

I am such a dork I just mapquested it and we are 877.3 miles and 13 hours 36 minutes. I have never made the drive so i dont know the "real" time. We just fly from Dulles and its about a 2 hour flight.

16: Merge onto I-95 S (Passing through NORTH CAROLINA- SOUTH CAROLINA- and GEORGIA- then crossing into FLORIDA). 661.2 miles Map

Thats a Loooong time on 95

It takes us 17-18 hours to drive from Ohio and a little over 2 hours to fly. We drive occasionally, but prefer flying.

Don't think we will take the drive from Jersey yet. Kids are too young and the flight is only like 2 1/2 hours or so.

Hey!

I'm the furthest one up north yet!

I live in the suburb of Montreal, Canada!

We drove to WDW last August and it took 24 hours! It was GREAT!

We will be flying this year, though!

HI ya neighbor!

Like shoppingbou, we are 24 hours away. Did drive down once, but ever since we discovered flying out of Burlington with Jetblue, we have been flying.

I would really like to drive down again next summer. (Already planning!) We could stay longer and bring back MORE stuff.lol.

We live in South Carolina, and are fortunate to be a 7-hour drive from WDW. We can go there for a long weekend if we want, and also are able to pack whatever we can fit into our SUV. From reading these boards, it seems that most of the posters live on the east coast, or at least east of the Mississippi. Where are you all from, and how long does it take you to get to the World?

Hey there neighbor! We are in coastal SC. We have a long weekend planned in late July for DH and I. We are going to plan for our 9 day trip with the kids (mid Aug). By the time we drove to the airport, check in 1 1/2hours early, fly, disembark, find ME, and ride bus to hotel we could almost drive there.

Is it really 7 hours? WE always hit traffic or construction so it takes longer.

Stacie

1190 miles from our location in TX (near Dallas) which translates to 15-16 hrs driving straight through. Would love to fly but with 7 people there is a big difference in cost.
