How far apart are Ohare and Midway?

I will be staying near Ohare,Right near Ohare for a Doctor Who con in Nov..I will be flying from there to MCO to go to Disney world..I know I can get a great rate on Southwest, but southwest only flies from Midway. I', wondering how far apart the 2 places areand how hard it woul be to get from the Ohare area to Midway.

They are a fair piece apart. There are buses that go between the two, google O'Hare-Midway bus for the schedule. A cab would probably cost $50 to go between them.

I take it you're staying in Rosemont. If you're up to it, you can take the Blue Line "L" to Clark and Lake downtown and transfer to the Orange line and it takes you right to the airport. It really depends on who/how many you're travelling with.

About 25 miles apart. There is a bus that goes between the two airports.

O'Hare is about 30 miles from Midway. Depending on the time of day, it could easily take an hour to get there though.

Truthfully, unless you'll have a car, I wouldn't say it is all that easy to get from Midway to O'Hare. I've almost flown into Midway so many times, but knowing it can take an hour to get from one to the other at times (if not worse) via car and I looked it up once for public transportation... it can take nearly 2 hours to get there. They are, effectively, on the opposite ends of the city.

Yes,I'll be at the Wyndham in Rosemont...There are 2 of us and it looks like Midway-Ohare bus is 22$ for 2 people and takes about 50 minutes.

I think I will take a cheap flight from Providence to Midway and then take the airport bus to Ohare...Going there it won't be a big deal because I won't have a flight to catch...I'll take a regular flight from Ohare to Orlando though because I don't want to worry about taking a bus when I have a flight to catch

Great idea, the Wyndham has a shuttle bus that will take you to O'Hare.

Yes they do..This will be my 3rd year going there and the shuttle takes us all over
