How far ahead?

How far ahead should I make reservations. I have the days figured out and the hotel (we decided to do ASMo).
Do I do this right through the WDW website? Thats where I have been looking. Since my trip is over a year away, they don't have airline info. yet so I can't book that. Could I do the room & PH tickets and add airline later? Should I do airline from the WDW website or is it better to shop around?

Sorry, I cannot comment too much on booking thru Disney's website online but as for when you should/could book ~ since you have your dates already, you can book now if you want to. I personnally always book directly through CRO (when not staying DVC) 1(407)W-DISNEY OR 1-800-828-0228. You may want to do it that way so that you have the benefit of speaking to a CM and being able to ask questions. Especially since you need to purchase park tickets and airline tickets and such and may want a package.

You could also look into using DreamsUnlimited ~ they're a TA who specializes in WDW and could handle all of this for you

I am already booked for next September. I called and booked room only and got the AAA discount applied. We will be getting our first AP's this year as we are going back in August 2006. In the past I have booked online with no problems. I always buy my air seperate. In the past I usually booked a package that was discounted and included the ultimate pass. This is the first time I am doing it all myself and am having a blast. So......I don't think it's too early to book especially since you know when you want to go and where you want to stay.
