How far ahead for Exchange resssies?

I just joined DVC in May and a friend of mine joined last year. We were thinking of combining points for a trip to one of the exchange places in Aruba. How far in advance do you have to get reservations for these?

I think it is 2 years.

but not all the timeshares are equal. go find dean's list of nice timeshares. - the favorite, Marriott, is evidently having some work done and would not be currently a good one - but hey in 2 years it should definitely be finished....
