well can't give you Destin - but Panama city is around 382 miles - and in time around 5 hour 15 minutes approx.

Orlando is Orlando International Airport - MCO

for destin

The nearest major airport is Okaloosa County Airport (Eglin AFB/Ft. Walton Beach).

Penscola is around 1 1/2 hour away and Tallashassee is around 2 hours.

Panama City has its own airport.

looks like if I fly airtran I have to go to pensacola how far is that from destin and I don't see southwest flying near there

Pensacola is 90 miles away from Destin. but you are driving along US 98 - which goes along the beach -so at least part of the drive you will be seeing the gulf!!!

the entire panhandle is similar as far as the beach and gulf go - it is lovely!!!
