How exactly does this work?

I'm a DVC member that will possible need some points this fall (we still haven't decided if we are going yet). If I bought points from someone - how do I get them? Do you call DVC and transfer them to my account? Are they good only at your home resort? Can I book your home resort 11 months in ahead if I'm using your points? Do the points expire at the end of my use year or the end of your use year? Can I bank the points if I end up not using them? If so, do I bank them according to my use year or your use year? I would appreciate any clarification. Amanda

You can have points transferred into your account. The transferred points will retain the origianl Home Resort status (you can use them at that resort 11 months in advance) and Use Year. Transferred points may be banked if desired. The other member will have to have MS transfer them into your account.

Transferred points will expire at the end of the Use Year if not banked.

You could also have another member make a reservation for you using their points in your name.
