How easy is it to make reservation changes?

I have 3 rooms booked for Sept that I'm thinking of moving to October. Assuming that there is availability and I don't want to change anything but the date, can they just change the date? Or will they need to rebook the entire set of ressies from scratch?

I guess it's not a huge deal, but it took forever to get the reservations made the first time, and i was just hoping I wouldn't have to start over.

They can just change the dates provided there is availabilty. Trust me on this. I have done it 3 times already for next years trip and I did it at least 4 times this past springs trip. My res was booked as a package.I honestly don't know if its any different for room only reservations, but I wouldn't think so.

They had to rebook from scratch and cancel my old ressie, and there wasn't availability at the hotel I wanted, yadda yadda.... So I'm glad to hear that it'll becan easy switch (if avail )

room to package or the other way around, it's totally different as it does involve canceling and booking again. Some got into problems when the room only (with discount) res was canceled, and then when trying to book a package there was no availability, the original room only discount was no longer available.

Date changes is easier, but again, it depends on availability.

This is why the package should have been booked before the room only reservation is cancelled.

Is there any reason why you can't post pone indefinitely? We were going to go in December, then had to change to February, now likely have to move again due to family reasons...We have already paid about half of the balance...

Provided there is availability they can do just about anything. One time I called to change a 2 night AP room reservation to a 2 room single night reservation, and I was still able to keep the AP rate. And I did the call from the turnpike service stop that is a mile or so from I-4 in Orlando !
