I know it varies by a million different variables but what was the earliest that your room was ever ready and did you check in at the counter or did you do online check in?

Did online check in 60days out this year and room was ready at 9am when we checked in at akl.
Last year our cbr room wasnt ready til 2.

Did online check-in last year for POR. Took an overnight flight from CA, and arrived MCO at 7:20am. Drove to POR and was showered and ready to head to my ADR at Boma at 8:30. So my room was ready at 8am.

Checked in at the counter at AoA this past February for a Cars Suite and was in the room right away. That was about 11am?

Four years ago a friend and I checked in at the counter at All Star Sports and got into our room at around 9am.

Twice around 10:30am, once it wasn't ready so we headed to the parks and got the "room ready" text about 1pm

We arrived at the SSR tree house last February. Our tree house was ready before 8 am. If your room is not ready, just check your bags, grab your tickets, and have fun.

We usually arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m., and our room has been ready all but one time, that was a Pop. We do not do online checkin and don't usually make requests. This last trip, we didn't arrive until around 10:30 a.m. To CBR. We had requested Jamaica, but there weren't any rooms in Jamaica ready when we arrived. We were given the choice to wait for a room in Jamaica or we could have a room in Martinique that was ready.

Did online check in last year at Pop. Room was ready at 8am and all our requests were granted. This was early Aug 2012.

Taking a red eye from Portland, Oregon end of August. We'll be at the hotel by 1:00 or 1:30 pm. Hoping to have a room. Would like to sleep for a couple hours before heading out. We leave at 11:30 pm the night before so it takes us all night to get there and I don't sleep well on airplanes.

One time we checked in at 8:30am at CSR (stayed by the airport the night before) and a room was ready! This was about 10 years ago and they neglected to tell us it was a smoking room! Got to the room, yuck! Went back to the front desk, they said that was all that was ready and they would send an air cleaning machine. We just wanted to get to the parks so we said OK. Big mistake, it didn't get much better and all our stuff smelled like smoke.

I also take the redeyes from portland, and we love this, but we always get in at 9am or so. Never have heard a redeye getting in so late from here. I'm taking one in February that will get me in at 5:30am!

Also, last year when our flight got in at 9am we checked into Beach Club at 9:45 and our room was ready, I just stressed we took a redeye and we were exhausted. Although the year before when we checked into the Poly they didnt have anything ready until 3pm.

Good luck!

Always ready when we do online check-in, but we usually don't get there much before noon so not incredibly early.

In the 100+ times we have gone there have been only three occasions the room wasn't ready. We always get there no later than 10, the earliest was 7:30 and the room was ready. You just never know.

In 2010, we stayed at WL and our room was ready when we got there around 11AM. Two days later, we moved to POFQ, that room was ready by 7AM when we checked in, so we could get our DDP credits before going to breakfast. Both were online checkin.

I seem to recall waiting for rooms at least twice, but don't remember what year or resort. But it was before online checkin was even available.

Online check in at POFQ with a request for adjoining rooms.
My room was ready at 8am and was even upgraded to a water view. I don't think the adjoining room was available that early but the other half of our party didn't arrive until 6pm.

Earliest I ever get there is about 11am and it is always ready. I always check in online.

The only time my room wasn't ready before noon, which is my usual arrival time with DME in the mix, was when I stayed in AOA LM in January. And that one was ready about 1:15. I've done online check-in every time and I'm pretty convinced it doesn't matter.

First time it was ready at 9:30am. We did not do online check-in and had no requests. Last trip, room wasn't ready until 2pm. We did online check-in but were put into the exact opposite of our request, so we opted to wait for a room that met our request which came available 4 hours after our arrival.

Whether or not your room is ready is based on hotel occupancy rates the night before, whether or not you do online check-in, and how many room requests you have (if any). If you make no room requests and do online check-in with your approx arrival time, they will try to get you into a room that will be ready when you arrive. If you are traveling during a busy week when resorts are near max occupancy, housekeeping will need the full time to turn rooms over, so I would expect a room closer to check-in time.
