How early to Wishes FP+?

We have a wishes fast pass and the arrival times says 8:40-8:55, are we able to go earlier and watch the spectromagic parade from that spot? Is it a good area for viewing the parade in the first place? I believe our wishes viewing section is at the main street plaza garden area.

The Wishes FP+ are good for either of the viewing areas. We chose the Crystal Palace side. The area is roped off and access restricted to FP before the parade so you can enter early. I remained seated on the ground and could see the top parts of the parade. Viewing of the parade may not be great but the uncrowded space is priceless.
