How early to call WDW DINE?

Is 7 a.m. the earliest time to call for ADRs?

Yes-the phone lines open at 7am EST and you can start @ the 180 day mark from when you're due to arrive

If you try to call earllier, you just get a recording telling you the hours. I'm not sure which clock they use because sometimes it seems they open earlier than 7 and sometimes later than 7.

Nope. I've already made my ADRs this morning.

It was interesting. I brought up the Time website (the Naval Observatory, I think) and called at 6:59:00 to make sure I had the correct number. I didn't, so I tried a different number, and at 6:59:40 it told me that they were closed. I redialed, ending my dialing at 7:00:02 and it told me that there was a long wait for assistance. Anyway, I was helped within 3-4 minutes, and making the reservations took little longer than that.
