Well a couple weeks ago when I was there, I couldn't believe how early some people were staking out spots for Spectro. I was walking around at 5:45pm, and the Spectro was at 8pm, and already there were a few people sitting on the curbs on Main Street, and the whole balcony on the second floor of the train station was already staked out with people sitting there all the way across. Who knows how long they had been there already, and still over 2 hours to go! I'm sure the train station balcony is a wonderful place to see it, but it's just not worth spending half a day or something to get that spot in my opinion. Maybe if those people were there for 10 days or something, where they didn't care about wasting a few hours, but to me park time is too precious to wait that long for a 15 minute parade to go by. There are too many places where I can walk up 15 minutes before the parade and see it just fine, without even bothering the people who have been sitting there for hours. And with Spectro, it's not like there are a lot of characters walking around on the ground interacting with people, because it's too dark, so why bother with a front row spot? Oh well, getting off the soapbox now.....
