Finally flying down Wednesday for 11 days at the park, hitting rope drop and pre park meals each day (yes, with breaks in the middle of the days, you folks convinced me!). What times are recommended for rope drop at the parks? Guessing Magic Kingdom earlier than the others? Thanks!!!

I believe it's safe to be in front of the parts at least 30 min prior to expected opening............for that day! To me there is only 1 "gotta do" RD and that's at MK.........the Welcome show is great.......especially for 1st timers. HS is a big one if you have younglings and want to do Jedi Training. The other parks really only give access to rides at the earliest possible moment.

Have a great trip!

If you're doing PPO breakfasts, rope drop arrival time won't matter much.

That said, for us, every park is a little different. For DHS, which has the most notable "stampede," I like to be at the turns by 8:30. 8:20 is even better. (This for a 9A opening.) That means we aim to be at security by 8:15.

AK I'd probably aim to be 20 minutes early. MK, I aim to be at security 30 minutes early - if security is long, you can still see the welcome show from there.

EPCOT, if I were aiming for Soarin or Test Track, I'd aim for 20-30 minutes early; if Frozen 30-40.
