How early do you buy electronics for christmas?

Walmart has a tv on sale and I am thinking of buying it now. Is it too early to buy one?? I would probably take the extended warranty just in case so it would cover something after the 90 day return policy.

Hi! I bought a tv last week that was on sale from KMart for my kids for Christmas. The way I looked at it was that it was below the price I planned to spend and it was what I was looking for. I did not take the extended warranty though...maybe I should have. I usually have all of my shopping done by Hallowwen and this year I am getting a slow start. But I don't think it is too early - JMHO

I bought my son an xbox this past summer when they were having a great deal. I try not to wait until the last minute, don't want to take the chance of missing out.

I just bought my in-laws an ipad2 16gb wifi this weekend at Target. With the red card and no tax in Delaware, it was a pretty good deal at $475. I'm afraid if we waited, they wouldn't have them in stock.

Don't waste your money on an extended warranty. Check the terms of your credit card; many offer free extended warranties.

I bought a 3DS this morining online from Target. This week they are offering A $25 gift card with purchase. I also used this code TGT75HFN and got an extra $5 off, used my target credit card to get 5% off, shipping was free and I also went through shopathome.com to get 3% back. If I find a better deal later I will return it to the store.
