How early can you get in MK for an 8:20 ADR at Cindy's??

I would have liked an 8:00 ADR and will keep trying for it but I'm wondering how early we can get in with an 8:20 time. They said we only have to be there 5 minutes early. In your past experience, how many people have been on Main Street then?? THANKS!

They open a special turnstile for people with breakfast reservations at ~7:45 - whilst you might not get a completely empty Main St, it is, to all intents and purposes, pretty much deserted until the gates open.

We were there in Aug and had 8:05 ADR at CP. They would not let anyone in until 8:00 (the park opened at 9:00). They said the earliest reservations given are 8:05 and that is why they they let you in at 8:00. I don't know if it is different for other places, but this was our experience in Aug.

1) They don't want too many people wandering around too much.
2) They let you in 5-10 minutes before your ADR.
3) More than enough time to walk to the Castle.

If you get in only 10-15 minutes before ressie, that doesn't give you a lot of time for castle photos.
