How early can you check in and what if ..

There is a Studio available and u show in the middle of the night? We have a reservation starting tomorrow Friday? We are driving right now as we speak. The plan is to stop along the way but we were talking " what ifs" and what if we drove straight thru?? Would they let us check in?

You can't check in before the computers change over at 6am. If by chance you were to arrive earlier you could pay(with cash or points) for another night and check in but they won't guarantee you will be able to stay in that room when you check in for your full reservation.

I think the computer changeover is more like 4:30 most nights. Anything before that and you'll likely get charged an extra day. OF course the chances of getting into a villa that early this time of year is pretty slim.

We have been known to sleep at FL rest stops on I - 4 close to Orlando when we have made better time than planned on our driving trips.
