How Early Can I Get in AK with early ADR?

I have an 8:05am ADR at Tusker House on my AK day. I've never done a pre-opening ADR and want to know how early we can get in the park.

I'd love to stop and take a few pictures while very few other people are around. Also, are there Photopass photographers out and about that early? Thanks!

Since TH can be kind of a long walk from the gate at AK, they will usually let you in a good 20 minutes or so before your ADR time. You will be able to stop and take a few pictures of your own along the way, but again it is a long walk. You won't be able to stray too far off of the route to TH, but you can get a few good shots along the way. I don't remember there being any PP photogs out before RD. We have done TH pre-AK RP a bunch of times. IMO, it is one of the better Character meals/ buffets on property.

I had an 8:05 at Tusker House in the beginning of May...they did not let people in until 7:50. I did not see any of the photographers around...but really didn't have enough time to look for them either. It's a pretty good walk to get to Tusker House but it's worth it. One of the best breakfast's in the parks.

Thank you all for the info. I was hoping I could get in a little sooner but that's ok. Guess I'd really just like to get a photo of the kids in front of the Tree of Life but I'll survive without it.

I've been let in at 7:45 at earliest. I have had time to get pic in front of TOL.
