How early are the porters at the terminal?

Trying to figure out if I can drop off our luggage then take the rental to Budget without having to haul the luggage onto the shuttle. I know the terminal opens at 10:30-just wondering if the porters are there beforehand. Thanks!

The porters are already there when they start letting people into the terminal, so yes, you can drop off your luggage before returning the rental car.....Andy

from what i remember the porters where there at 10:15 when they started to let all in to drop off family

We arrived at 9:45, and we were not allowed into the parking lot until 10:00. Once we were allowed in, the porters were there right away.

You can't get in just to drop your luggage with the porters..you have to wait until the gate opens..between 10 and 10:30...the security guard at the main entrance won't even let you go that direction until disney tells them to start sending cars over. He will make you park in a side lot...or you can keep circling...so don't go to early, or you will be waiting in the car.

Porters arrive early since they have to help those disembarking. We were the first in line for LTP (long term parking) at 10AM and as soon as we pulled up there were porters waiting for our luggage.
