How does this work?

I booked my trip 7 months ago, made all my plans, made my ADRs at 180 days, the whole enchilada. I was planning to take my 4 kids by myself, dh said he didn't want to go. About 2 weeks ago dh changed his mind and decided to join us. Completely threw my whole plan off! We are staying in a room that holds 5, now we have 6 and there were no rooms in our hotel available to book. So I booked dh into a room at a separate hotel. Now I'm wondering how this is going to work. We can split up for sleeping arrangements, I'm not really worried about that. But what about use of the pool? Is it going to be a problem for my dh to come play in our hotel pool with us? Is that considered pool hopping? We've paid for the 5 of us at 1 hotel and paid for the 6th at another. Ugh, I should have just booked for 6 in the beginning. It would have been so much easier to subtract 1 than it is to add 1.

If you are at Beach/Yacht club you have to show resort keys to use SAB . What resort are you at?

How old is your youngest kid? If he/she is under 3, you can all legally fit into the room. Doubt if you'd be comfortable, but legally you would fit.

Youngest is 5, so we won't all fit.

You can ask at your resort when you get there if there would be a problem with him using the pool. If they say OK then no problems.

Have you checked into availability at either the All Star Family Suites or FW cabins, both of which hold six people?

He could use the pool at POR. I don't see that as a problem since they don't ask for any resort keys or id to show that ur staying there. I just stayed this past weekend at POFQ and they never even asked me for a key to get a pool towel and you could grab as many as u want, so that's why I'm saying that I don't forsee a problem with your hubby coming to play with u guys at your resort. hope this helps and that u guys have a great trip.
