I searched and think I found the answer, but can someone confirm/clarify?

One of my DS(10) is finicky about food; looking at the menus at several TS restaurants we'd like to eat at, I noticed he'd much prefer eating off of kids menu and/or sides/appetizers. Can we just pay OOP for his and "save" his 'adult' TS credit for later in the trip or for someplace else?

Hope this isn't too reduntant of a ?, but it's our very 1st Dis trip ever & it's quite over-whelming to say the least. Just trying to get all my Donald's in-a-row for our amazing upcoming adventure!!!:cool1:

WOW! My adr window opens tomorrow...

Yes. Make sure your server knows that you will be paying cash for one meal.

We've done this and are planning on doing it again for our upcoming trip...we found it very cost effective and we avoided any tension over what DS (11) would eat. He was more adventurous at the QS locations. DH and I enjoyed a couple of lunches and this upcoming trip we are going to try out Narcoossee's - can't wait!
