14 days at WL booked with DxDP for Oct 2015. Coming from Scotland with DH, DD6 and DS10
Trying to plan things out.

Magic Kingdom – 3 days plus MNSSHP
Animal Kingdom – 2 days (MNSSHP one evening)
Epcot – 2 days
Hollywood Studios – 1 day
Universal – 2 days
NASA – 1 day
Waterpark – 1 day (Hoop de Doo in evening?)
Discovery cove - 1 day (signature dinner at Artist Point in evening, kids to Cubs Den)

I know that's only 13 but don't know our flights etc as we are so far out!
What do you think? I'll switch up the order once I know the park hours but want to start narrowing down where we want to eat / see

Sounds like a great vacation! Only addition I can think of is maybe Sea World...maybe even Discovery Cove.

Honestly, I'd plan to stay at the resort at least for 1 day. Take time to enjoy the beautiful Wilderness Lodge! Go explore Wilderness Campground! Go for a wagon ride and attend the Chip N Dale campfire sing along there. On long trips, down days can be important to recharge.

Well we actually have 15 days so a down day in the middle is a really good idea. Thanks!

So next I need to start choosing restaurants to match up with the park days. Right?

I don't see any downtime in there. Even we (as seasoned travellers) need downtime now and again. If you don't have some time out of the parks, you may end up with themepark burnout so it may be as well to factor in a couple o fpool days.

Do you plan to go to a park the day you go to MNSSHP? With two kids and MNSSHP being quite a late night, it might be worth having a more relaxing day (maybe a water park or pool day) that day. You can enter the park from 4pm with your MNSSHP ticket.

Have you booked free dining? If so, you presumably have the 14-day Ultimate tickets with waterparks included. It will be wroth doing both (although one may be closed depending how late in October you are visiting).

With Discovery Cove, you will get entry to either Sea World or Busch Gardens and yet you haven't included that in your plans.

Trying to fit all those parks into 14 days (particularly with multiple visits) is an awful lot. As a previous poster said, the wilderness Lodge is so beautiful you will want to take the time to fully explore and make the most of the activities there (the Hidden Mickey hunt is a lot of fun). When you check in to WL on your arrival, be sure to ask if there is an opening for Flag family during your stay :)

You still have a while to plan the finer details but just be aware of the fact that nobody will have fun if you try to cram too much in and end up tired and cranky.

Also, I don't know if you are aware but there is a dedicated forum here for travellers from the UK. Feel free to pop over, add your holiday dates to the Holiday Chart and introduce yourself.

Hi there and thanks for your input.

We are early risers and plan to do opening of parks with an afternoon break so that we can either have resort/pool time in the afternoons and then just chill or head out to somewhere in the evenings.

We should have enough space for a full do nothing day in the middle and days like NASA won't be as full on.

I'm hoping that by scheduling multiple days in the parks we can do what we want to do without being there dawn till dusk and building more down time into each day rather than having days off.

This has been a trip a long time in the offing (15 years!) and I want to make the most of it without tiring the kids out!

I am also hoping that with the Deluxe Dining Plan we will have TS restaurants to cool off, sit down and re-energise ourselves! (DD has multiple allergies so TS was the better option for us IMO)

Thank you for your input, I'm definitely going to look at scheduling in more rest times.

Also I'm not sure how to do a signature but I've been to WDW about 10 times prior to having the kids (and DLP twice since having our son) so I know how tiring it can get! I just have to translate this to a 6 year old and a 10 year old and not a 20something commando honeymooner!!!
