Well its Saturday night and I am hiding in the kitchen while my dd and friends sing all the Chetah girl 2 songs :cheer2: !!! I am getting a headache :rolleyes1 . I have a feeling this will last awhile.

When did your kids take over the house, it seems to be age 9 around here :rotfl2: !!!!

It's already happened here. And my oldest is 7. Here it's usually High School Musical songs though, and I sing and dance along. :rotfl2:

Last night DD12 had a friend spend the night. They started in the den, playing DDR. No problem - I stayed in MY den (a guest bedroom I've turned into my own den.) Then, they wanted to use the computer - in my den. No problem - I moved to my bedroom, right next door, and took a brief nap. Then they wanted to watch TV - something DD had taped. It was - you guessed it - on the TV in my bedroom. So I moved into the den, and finished my nap on the den sofa. I sent them to bed at 11:00pm and went to sleep myself. This morning they advised me that they might be tired today because they stayed up until 3:45am!!!!

The rest of the day was spent driving them to breakfast, to the shopping center, to cheerleading practice, back to the shopping center, and then home. Now they are getting ready for a classmates's birthday dance. In about 7 minutes I will take them to the dance and then I WILL FINALLY BE FREE!!!!!!!

Can't wait for tomorrow, when it's my turn to boss her around...

I just rejoice that it's at my house, where I know what they're doing, rather than someone else's and wonder.....

I love the High School Musical songs, but they say I just embaress them when I sing!!! I thought that was my job  !

This year-DS is 10.

Matter of fact, 1 friend just left after 5 hours. The other 1 will spend the night. They were driving me crazy today.

The son and friend are off at the neighbors playing right now though. Sent the cell phone with them, told them I'd call when it was time to come home.

hmmmmm, wonder how long I could wait?? Just kidding. :teeth:

How funny! I picked up the Cheetah Girls 2 cd for dd9 just today at WallyWorld. She is in her room playing the cd for the 10th time singing at the top of her lungs - with her six year old brother :) :teeth:

DD is 3. Y'all are giving me hope that I won't be an uncool Mom! :thumbsup2 :cool1:
