My wife and I are staying at the GF the day before our cruise and are going to the MNSSHP. Would like to sleep in a little before jumping on the bus the next day but I don't know what time they show up. Where do I find this info? Also what do we need to do with the check-in luggage for the cruise? Bring it to the bus? Set them out in the morning with tags?

Thanks for the help,
David

You'll receive a letter in your room the night before the cruise telling you what time and where to check in for your bus. The time will be sometime between 10:30 and 1:30.

You'll be directed to leave your checked bags inside your room for an 8:00 am pick up. With DCL luggage tags on them.

Thanks for the info. Any chance of me calling the front desk and either get them picked up or drop them off at 1 am when I get back from the MK?

Only if you want them to possibly not end up on the ship. They have a specific time frame and when picked up are taken directly to a truck that will not be there at 1am.

If you do not want them picked up at 8, I would put a note on your door that you will take your bags to the bus yourself. If they are carry-on size you can take them on board yourself. If not, you would need to check them with a porter when the bus arrives at the port.

Ok so when I give them the luggage around 8am it goes directly to my stateroom on the ship correct?

Correct, so make sure you keep any medications, camera, phone, sunscreen, ID & docs that you may need for the day (and to get on the ship) in your carry on/day bag. You will not have access to your checked luggage again until it arrives in your cabin (anywhere from about 2 to 6 pm usually). Also, you will be keeping your carry on bag with you until your room opens up at 2:00 so make sure it is something with wheels to make it easier!!

You will contacted the night before the cruise and told of the time and the meeting place. My family stayed at the GF the week before a cruise last June and our meet time was around 11:00 AM in the GF Lobby. Bell Services, however, will come and get your luggage around 8 AM.
