After looking through the food porn threads and seeing the F&W things I am wondering if we should look into going?

However how does this all work? Do you pay for each thing or does entrance into the park let you sample these things with some special ticket? How long does this run for? Some ppl ate ALOT of food.....! Perhaps over several days? Is that what you do if your a foodie.....go for a few days to try it all?

I am dying to do this!

You pay by the sample. It adds up quickly. I think it is more the people who are not foodies who eat more. The foodies tend to have tried a lot of this stuff elsewhere. We have our favorite things and occasionally see something new to try.

The best way to go is to do one of these events like Party of The Senses where you pay an additional ticket price and get a meal or some sort of series of sample stations with wine and food to try.

Personally I feel that every day is a food festival at Epcot. There is just more tiny options during the FW festival and more countries to choose from.

Should you go? Well if you are not a die hard foodie and you would like to experience some new cuisines, Especially if there is not a lot of variety where you live you should definitely go. If you are just looking for a fun time where there will be extra exhibit stuff at Epcot this may be a good time to go. If you are a die hard foodie you might be disappointed or you might just enjoy yourself and feel silly. I know I do. I like to watch the people eat things I eat every day just to see their expression as they taste it.

PS That is not meant as an insult. I find it interesting. I do not remember a time where I did not eat things like spinach pie so to see an adult experience it for the first time is fascinating.

What worked really well for me during the F&W festival was using a gift card to buy samples with. It makes things really quick and easy. You just line up at the kiosk, order your food and they slide the card through. Then you get your food. I had a great afternoon sampling food the other week.

It can be very crowded on the weekends when the Orlando area residents come in.

If you are on the dining plan, you can use snack credits for many of the food samples at the booths. We did this for lunch one day.
