How does Stormalong Bay work w/Magic Bands?

I'm considering a stay at the Beach Club in January. I stayed at the Yacht Club a few years back and when I went to Stormalong Bay, I had to show my KTTW card in order to gain access. Does anyone know how this works w/Magic Bands? I can't remember if you still get a KTTW card or not...if so, are you still expected to take that to the pool? Or do they have some kind of scanner there?

Right now they're still giving out KTTW cards, so I'd assume that's what you have to show for SAB. At least, that's what I'm assuming for my YC stay next month. Would be nice for them to install MB readers, but there are quite a few entrances between the two resorts, so it might be tougher than it sounds.

They could always just make you scan your MagicBand at the pool services desk to get the wristband. So you still have to get a wristband but don't have to worry about KTTW card.

They have mobile readers for the magic bands. Last night we went to the pool and they scanned our bands when we entered. People without bands had a key check and got wristbands. If you had magic Banda you didn't need a wristband.

Just back from YC a few days ago and the scanners were not working well, they are working on the WIFI problems so they just let us in. We were told to bring our KTTW cards with us by the front desk (they are giving them out for when the MB's don't work) and we did, but nobody ever asked to see them when we flashed the bands, not once and we went to the pool several times a day for 7 days.
