I make coffee every day at home with a press pot. It is a glass pot, you put the ground coffee in the bottom of the pot. Then add your boiling water. Then you put the plunger part that has a screen to keep the coffee grounds out of the top. They will do all of this for you before they bring the pot to your table. After you let the coffee steep for a few minutes, you slowly press down the plunger. Make sure you press straight down because if you press down at an angle the grounds will get into your coffee. As you press down, the screen pushes all of the coffee grounds to the bottom of the pot leaving the coffee on top.
That said, I don't recommend the press pot at Kona. Their regular house coffee is a Kona blend and honestly it is supurb and costs a fraction of the price of the press pot of pure Kona. I think the press pot was nearly $10, that is way to much for a couple cups of coffee IMO. I've had their regular coffee on several occasions and I highly recommend it. It is the same blend they serve at the little coffee/pastry stand there.
